Lowest Fee Gold IRA

Privacy Policy

Published ยท Updated

Effective

This policy covers Lowest Fee Gold IRA, published by Lead Partner. It explains what is collected when you use the site and what happens when you follow a link to a partner.

The short version

  • You can use every page and the calculator without giving us your name, email or phone number.
  • The site sets one first-party cookie that records how you arrived (search engine, another site, or direct). Nothing else.
  • When you follow a Goldco or Augusta button, the link carries labels about the page and that arrival type, never personal details.
  • We count page views and button clicks with Vercel Web Analytics. Page addresses go to it without their query string, and a mistyped address is never recorded.
  • We don't sell personal information.

The cookie we set

On the first page you open, a short script reads where you came from (the referring site's address, which your browser provides) and stores one of four values in a cookie named lfg_ch: organic-bing, organic-google, referral or direct. The full referring address is not stored. The cookie is first-party, lasts until you close your browser, and is only read by our /go/ address when you follow a partner button. No third-party cookies are set.

The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The amounts you enter aren't sent anywhere.

Partner links

Goldco and Augusta buttons go through an address on this site starting with /go/. It forwards you to the company with labels that tell it: that you came from this site, which page and which spot on the page, the page's topic and version, and the arrival type from the cookie above. These labels let the company count referrals and pay us; see the affiliate disclosure. Our /go/ code doesn't store your IP address or browser details itself, but our host logs each visit to that address (see server logs below).

This site has no form that collects your contact details. Forms you see after clicking through to a company are on that company's site.

Once you are on a company's site, its own privacy policy applies, including to any form you fill in. Goldco's is at goldco.com/privacy-policy. Augusta's is linked from augustapreciousmetals.com.

Server logs and analytics

Like any website, the hosting service that serves our pages processes technical request data (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver the site and keep it secure. Our host is Vercel. Its logs of visits to our /go/ address include the address requested with its labels and your browser type. Our Vercel plan is Pro with Observability Plus, and for that plan Vercel's documentation gives runtime log retention as 30 days.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages are read and how often the Goldco and Augusta buttons are used. It comes from Vercel, the company that hosts the site, and its script loads from our own domain. A button click is counted as an event named go_click with only two labels: the company the button is for and where on the page it sits, for example hero or table.

We trim what is sent. Before a page view or click leaves your browser, our page removes the query string (the part of an address from a "?" on) and anything after a "#", so neither is recorded. Mistyped addresses aren't recorded either: when an address leads nowhere on this site, the visit is counted as our not-found page, /404/, and the address you typed is dropped. Nothing is counted while you pass through a /go/ address. The address of the site that sent you, if your browser shares one, reaches Vercel as your browser reports it; we don't change it.

Vercel's documentation on Web Analytics privacy and compliance lists what it keeps. For each page view or click it may store the date and time, which page it was (its address and route), the referring address, query parameters left after its own filtering (we send none), a location (Vercel's example names a country, a state and a city), your operating system and browser, each with its version, whether the device is a phone, tablet or desktop, and the version of Vercel's script. The same page says the service uses no third-party cookies, tells visitors apart by a hash made from the incoming request, and throws each visitor session away after 24 hours. Vercel also states that these records are anonymous, are not tied to a person or an IP address, and serve only aggregated statistics.

Messages

If you email us, we keep your message and address to reply and to keep a record of corrections. We delete them 12 months after we receive them. We don't add you to any list.

Your choices and rights

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser. The site, including the calculator, works without them; partner links then carry "unknown" as the arrival type.
  • You can ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it, through the contact page. We reply within 3 business days.
  • Residents of US states with their own privacy laws, such as California, may have further rights under those laws. We don't sell personal information or share it for cross-site advertising.

Children

The site is meant for adults planning for retirement and isn't directed at anyone under 18.
