Affiliate Disclosure: Who Pays This Site and How
Published ยท Updated
Lowest Fee Gold IRA is free to use because two of the companies it covers pay us. This page says which ones, what they pay for, and what that payment does and doesn't change.
Who pays us
| Company | Pays us? | For what |
|---|---|---|
| American Hartford Gold | No | No relationship |
| Augusta Precious Metals | Yes | When a reader we refer becomes a qualified lead under Augusta's own definition |
| Birch Gold Group | No | No relationship |
| Goldco | Yes | When a reader we refer requests information and Goldco counts it as a qualified lead, and when a referred reader buys |
| Lear Capital | No | No relationship |
| Noble Gold Investments | No | No relationship |
| Patriot Gold Group | No | No relationship |
| Priority Gold | No | No relationship |
Caution on Lear Capital: NY AG $6M consent order (2022) and 2022 Chapter 11 with multistate $5.5M restitution.Caution on Priority Gold: Site claims 'fully accredited' BBB A+ and 4.9 Trustpilot; BBB shows NOT accredited and Trustpilot shows 4.8 (2026-10-29).
In short: when you ask Goldco or Augusta for information through one of our buttons, we may be paid; Goldco may also pay us if you later buy. We don't publish the amounts. You pay nothing extra: fees and metal prices are the same whether you use our link or go to the company directly.
How the links work
Buttons for Goldco and Augusta point to an address on this site starting with /go/. That address sends you on to the company and adds labels the company uses to count referrals from us: this site's code, which page and which spot on the page you clicked, the page's topic, the page version, and a general label for how you reached the site (for example, a search engine or direct). No name, email, phone number or other personal detail is added. The privacy policy explains the one cookie involved.
Links to the six other companies are ordinary source links with nothing added, or no link at all. The /go/ links are marked as sponsored for search engines.
What payment affects
- Which companies get buttons. Only Goldco and Augusta, because only they pay us.
- Where the buttons sit. Goldco's button appears under each page's short answer, in its table row and after the verdict; Augusta's appears in its table row and after the verdict. Each is labelled "Paid partner".
What payment doesn't affect
- The figures. Every fee, minimum and waiver comes from the company's or custodian's published pages and is shown the same way for every company.
- The order. The calculator sorts by total cost and lists equal totals alphabetically; every other table is alphabetical or sorted by a figure. Payment never moves a company up, including within equal totals.
- How Goldco is described. Goldco's account fees are the custodian's standard schedule and it publishes no fee waiver, so no page calls it the lowest-fee choice or suggests it shares that title.
- Negative facts. Settlements, regulator actions, cautions and missing disclosures are reported whoever they concern.
- Approval. Neither company sees or approves our pages before publication.
What we don't accept
- Payment for a better position or wording
- Free metal, gifts or trips from companies we cover
- Requests to remove accurate information
Why we tell you this
The FTC's Endorsement Guides say a material connection, such as payment, should be disclosed clearly. Every page with a partner button carries a one-line note next to the first button and links here, and every button is labelled "Paid partner". Questions go to the contact page.
